I became a Blue Pegasos representative as I have had personal success using the shoe competitively in endurance racing in the United States for the last 5 years.
When I started endurance racing I tried several options available on my horse’s hoof; including barefoot, metal shoes, boots and finally the Blue Pegasos shoe. The Blue Pegasos worked for me for several reasons. I required a modality that would lower concussion over long miles, was durable in rough terrain, wore well on a gaited breed, and provided flexibility when applying and shaping to varying hooves. Accomplishments on my Rocky Mountain horse include Best Condition Horse and Top mileage horse in the Pacific Northwest as well as Top multi day horse nationally. I have also completed Tevis as well as a 6 day 310 mile race while using Blue Pegasos shoes.
